NIPONIA Cover

YEY! Finally, NIPONIA goes live in two weeks!

FYI, NIPONIA is a new magazine here in MÉXICO, about anime&manga, with an original comic, articles and illustrations by yours truly and a couple dudettes too, almost in this first issue.

This is a dream come true 'cause I believed magazines here are somehow static, or to be completely sincere: stagnant. Hopefully this magazine will shake things up a bit... Hopefully people will start LIVIN' LA VIDA MANGA! dressing everyday as their own anime alter-ego's. (note: Not Cosplaying, but bringing a bit of harajuku fashion to their lives and reallity), or being what they want to be, anime style, like... carriyin wood swords as an statement of their believes or going from one point to another "a la ninja" jumping from tree to tree without being noticed, or whaterver they feel like themselves are fine with...

Yep, I believe the time to the anime fan to take the next step has come. -- Sounds pretty lunatic at this point, don´t you think? -- But my point is Anime is pure imagination, it´s time to live imaginatively everyday, all the time, changing reallity for the sake of living a wonderful, exciting life... Yes, physics will remain the same, gravity still works no matter what, but, you know... the simply amazement of living your live like no other -- literally -- is worth the try, don't you think?

Anyway, that's just the way I see this, Anime&Manga are the New Punk, the real, real NEW PUNK, the attitude, the meaning, the vision of D.I.Y. exponentially growth... let's step ahead proudly!
